The fluid versatility and cohesiveness of CRYSTALLIZED™ Spring/Summer 2011 Trend Collection is a welcome surprise, utilizing images of water and the subtle power that remains hidden in waves and curves. A dormant lake, ruffled only by a passing wind may seem genteel but anyone who has met the fury of storm-agitated ocean waves knows the power that Mother Nature possesses. The shaded depths of a SWAMP, congested with life in and out of the water, are a sodden arena of khaki, tabac and fern green. The OCEAN floor, home to a Technicolor fraternity of colors like light topaz, amethyst and capri blue, is the residence of gorgeous aquatic life. The waterfalls that CASCADE, like silken streams of crysolite, provence lavender and light azore are a lithe curve of water, crashing onto sleek rock with a majestic roar. One tends to forget that power doesn’t always have to be wielded with a heavy hand: the greatest lessons are sometimes hidden in delicacies, like the SOURCE of lakes, a tender mix of powder pinks, air blue opal and pearl white or in childlike exuberance, like the coursing energy of a RIVER flow,
mixing indigo blue, burgundy and dark red coral.
